THE CENTER SCHOOL Transition Program THE CENTER SCHOOL believes that every student can reach his or her potential when given the right instruction and placed in the right environment. Students come to THE CENTER SCHOOL because they need an alternative to public high school. Although they may have completed the course work, this does not always mean that they are ready to function independently in the "real" world. THE CENTER SCHOOL is more than a path to a diploma; it is a pathway to life. Our students are given the tools they need to live more independently, become more involved in their communities, and grow as people. Students are offered Structured Learning Experiences, or SLE's in the community during school hours.
